In less than five days, the Global NDC Conference 2025 will open its doors in Berlin—and we are ready to welcome a dynamic community of climate leaders, practitioners, policymakers, and innovators from around the world.
This year’s conference comes at a decisive moment for climate policy. With countries preparing their next round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), our focus is clear: turning climate commitments into action, and action into investment. Over three intensive days—from June 11 to 13—we will explore how to enhance climate ambition, accelerate NDC implementation, and mobilise the finance needed to close the gap between plans and progress.
What to expect at the Global NDC Conference 2025
Three days, one purpose: From high-level plenaries to hands-on sessions, this year’s agenda is designed to spark ideas, foster collaboration, and generate practical solutions. Expect parallel sessions into topics like just transitions, energy sector and industry decarbonization, adaptation finance, and aligning NDCs with long-term strategies.
Interactive formats: Get ready for parallel sessions, case clinics, and solutions labs—formats that are intentionally participatory, designed to move beyond presentations and into meaningful dialogue. Whether you are sharing your country’s challenges or co-creating with others, you’ll leave with insights you can apply in your NDC journey.
Spotlight on finance: This year puts a strong emphasis on mobilising climate finance, especially from the private sector. You will hear directly from funders, innovators, and country representatives on how to design bankable NDCs and unlock funding for transformative climate action.
Scalable solutions: Our case clinics will be a space for participants to share the challenges they are facing in their NDC work. Topics include youth engagement, effective regulation, democratising access to finance, Indigenous Peoples participantion, multi-level governance, amogst many other. Our solutions labs will showcase real initiatives, projects, and technologies that are already working—and ready to scale. Topics include digital tools, nature-climate synergies, urban action, and Article 6 implementation.
