This breakout session explores the opportunities for encouraging the private sector’s participation in achieving NDC targets through the experiences shared by representatives of the Southern Africa Climate Finance Partnership (SACFP). In particular, this session examines how Africa’s approach towards an inclusive transition to a low-emissions, climate-resilient future can help to redefine the role of the private sector and bring about several win-win scenarios.
