Accelerating the formulation and implementation of adaptation priorities : Leveraging NAPs, NDCs, and NBSAPs for Action

Date: 11 June 2025
Time: 14:00 – 15:15 hrs (runs once)
Room: Copenhagen

During this session, we would like to present how integrated planning can help countries align National Adaptation Plans and Nationally Determined Contributions, and National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans to strengthen adaptation outcomes and policy coherence. The session will highlight country experiences and lessons learned in bridging these frameworks to move from planning to implementation.

Presentations will explore opportunities for joint mobilization of climate and biodiversity finance and the development of investment pipelines. It will also touch on tools and strategies that help define and prioritize bankable projects supporting both climate resilience and biodiversity goals.

Finally, the session aims to contribute to the discussion on overcoming challenges in integrated planning and scaling up finance for nature-based solutions.
