Article 6 solutions lab

 This session explores how Article 6 of the Paris Agreement can be used to mobilize finance for ambitious NDC implementation.
It will provide a concise overview of the functioning of Article 6, including cooperative approaches (Article 6.2), the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (PACM) (Article 6.4), and non-market approaches (Article 6.8). 

The session will highlight the role of NDCs in Article 6 financing and present solutions to host country needs through key Article 6 building blocks. The table discussions will offer insights into practical implementation solutions. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) will share insights into Germany’s Article 6 work and priorities.
