Nature-climate synergies solutions lab

Date: 13 June 2025
Time: 11:45 – 12:45 hrs
Room: Copenhagen

Unlocking synergies between biodiversity and climate action offers powerful, mutually beneficial outcomes. By fostering a culture of collaboration and learning from global best practices, countries can design coherent, effective policies that tackle both challenges together.

This session aims to highlight how integrated, synergetic solutions pave the way for more sustainable and inclusive development by presenting different initiatives and approaches: a checklist for national policy makers along with a global study on the alignment of NBSAPs and NDCs, the Fast Forward NDC guidance tool, practical examples on how to inform NDCs with indigenous and local community knowledge and the Climate Nature Coordination Platform.
