The focus in 2025

The Global NDC Conference 2025 (to be held 11-13 June 2025 in Berlin) comes at a critical moment for global climate action. With the latest round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under review and the need for increased ambition clearer than ever, this edition will focus on fostering the rapid and effective translation of NDC commitments into implementation and investment plans. The aim is to catalyse such ambition and ease access to financial flows from a broad donor landscape.

200+ participants from around the world will engage in peer discussions and hands-on breakout sessions, addressing emerging needs and opportunities in climate governance, investment mobilisation, and private sector engagement in bridging the climate finance gap.

Agenda flow

11 June 2025
Ambition & implementation

Ambitious NDCs 3.0 are a vow to level up and accelerate climate action, but the policies alone will not get the job done.

The first conference day will be about translating both mitigation and adaptation goals into high-impact national and sectoral implementation plans and project pipelines.

This day will provide learning and knowledge exchange opportunities on how to drive urgent climate action, ensuring alignment, inclusion, and transparency.

Through interactive parallel sessions, participants will engage in exchanges on how to turn climate pledges into real, measurable progress.

12 June 2025
Finance

The second conference day will look at the role of finance as a critical enabler of NDC implementation.

Participants will explore how to drive finance into NDC planning and implementation, enhance collaboration between public and private actors, and learn from examples of successful investment planning and innovative finance.

This day will establish understanding and knowledge alignment between the diverse set of actors present at the conference.

In engaging plenary and breakout sessions, participants will tackle opportunities and challenges related to finance mobilisation for climate action.

13 June 2025
Solutions

The final conference day will highlight a variety of tried-and-tested solutions to advance implementation and catalyse greater ambition.

From funding to technology, from urban to nature-climate solutions, participants will learn more about how to replicate and accelerate practical solutions for NDC implementation.

Participants will leave the conference with ideas for engagement, an enhanced network of ambitious peers, and clarity on next steps in the NDC process.
