1. Aligning NDCs and Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategies
Date: Wednesday 31st May Time: 14:00-16:00 Room: Stockholm
Participants are invited to deepen their understanding of the linkages between NDCs and LT-LEDS, as well as the considerations of related national strategies and frameworks (NAPs, SDGs, etc.), as countries seek to advance both ambition and implementation. Participants will learn from case studies in which countries are integrating NDCs and LT-LEDS and learn from implementing and development partners how they are aligning support for LT-LEDS and NDCs. This session aims to advance a common understanding of the concrete next steps to enhance planning at the national level to effectively align NDCs and LT-LEDS and ultimately successfully implement long-term climate objectives.
