Encourage participants to think critically about what transparency is. Many links transparency to reporting and the international process. The following section will revise that statement and explain the actual connection to NDCs and ramifications at the national level. The session will present the benefits of Transparency identified in the paper “National Benefits of Climate Transparency” and a real country case of national benefits through transparency.
